so i always assumed that if robots were ever to listen and enjoy music, that they would listen to very logical, electronic music. maybe it would just be white noise - all frequencies simultaneously activating their aural sensors.

but it is also possible that much like our obsession with technology and artificial intelligence, robots will be 'fascinated' with all that is seemingly illogical and organic. i think robots will be interested in jug band music, drum circles, and Bruce Springsteen

while i have no evidence supporting this, i doubt robots will incorporate the xenophobic tendencies of their creators and fully embrace cultural aspects that fall outside their circuitry. perhaps they will spend their free time analyzing Born in the USA, trying to sync it up to a series of algorithms.
